Responsibilities
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes and production lines for desalination systems.
- Lead DFM/DFA initiatives including tooling, fixtures, and automation programming.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define cycle-times, yield targets, and quality metrics.
- Develop work instructions, process flows, and validate manufacturing methods.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance cost, throughput, and reliability.
- Work with procurement, quality, and external vendors to scale manufacturing.
- Engage in hands-on work with development hardware and equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or equivalent).
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process development.
- Strong CAD experience and familiarity with manufacturing automation.
- Hands-on mindset with problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
- Preferred experience in consumer hardware production and automation programming.
- Knowledge of mechanical-hardware manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
