Responsibilities
- Drive new products from initial proof of concept through to mass production
- Generate mechanical solutions for product requirements relevant to enterprise hardware
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering to integrate electro-mechanical elements
- Work with Industrial Design to prototype and finalize product concepts
- Manage tooling release, bring up, and validation for parts and processes
- Develop and execute mechanical reliability test plans and DoEs
- Assist with failure analysis and troubleshooting
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Experience designing and manufacturing enterprise or consumer electronic products
- Mastery of 3D CAD software
- Hands-on experience with building and testing hardware
- Experience with overseas supply chains and part vendors
- End-to-end product development experience
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design and electro-mechanical systems
