Responsibilities
- Support the development of technologies for semiconductor equipment systems including Ion Beam Deposition, Etch, and other platforms.
- Work hands-on with building, testing, troubleshooting, and generating testing reports of high vacuum process equipment.
- Develop concepts and drive the design and testing of new components/sub-systems across product lines.
- Determine system/component specifications and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Perform advanced data and statistical analysis to identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with mechanical/electrical engineering, marketing, field support, and supply chain groups for system development.
- Document results through technical status reports.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) with 8+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering role.
- 5+ years of experience in the design of Semiconductor Process equipment.
- Hands-on experience with High Vacuum Process Equipment including leak detection.
- Broad knowledge of electro-mechanical systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with defectivity reduction initiatives related to Semiconductor process equipment preferred.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% internationally and domestically.
