Responsibilities
- Responsible Engineer for the flight engine controller and instrumentation
- Work with the test team to integrate engine controller with the test stand
- Design, build, and test circuit boards and write software for engine components
- Procure, calibrate, install, and troubleshoot engine instrumentation
- Responsible for wiring harnesses and avionics mounting on engines
- Create electronics schematics and models/drawings of parts and assemblies
- Participate in engine testing and support troubleshooting as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 2+ years of experience with electronics design, development, fabrication, assembly, or test
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Hands-on engineering skills with electronics and circuit boards
- Proficiency in coding (MATLAB, C++, JavaScript, C, Arduino)
- Experience with CAD (NX preferred) and GD&T
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
