Vehicle Integration & Test - Summer 2025

The role is a summer internship focused on vehicle integration and testing for spacecraft and reentry systems at Varda, a company developing commercial space infrastructure. Interns will gain hands-on experience with flight hardware, test operations, and problem-solving.

• Own or contribute to hardware or software design to support development of spacecraft or payload.
• Create or support test campaigns and build test stands.
• Perform necessary analysis to support development and testing.
• Gain hands-on experience with flight hardware.
• Contribute to assembly and integration of spacecraft systems.
• Work collaboratively within a team in a startup environment.
• Learn from experienced aerospace professionals.

• Hands-on experience in any discipline from project teams or internships.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes (5S, production floor space, etc.).
• Python programming experience.
• Modeling/Assembly CAD experience.
• Previous internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Experience on technical project teams (i.e., Rocket club, formula SAE, etc.).
• Experience building test stands, engines, or rockets.
