Responsibilities
- Ongoing testing of parts (Functional, Dimensional, Physical properties, etc.)
- Create, update, and maintain quality documentation and reports.
- Serve as the focal point of contact for internal and external customers.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for problem-solving and quality improvements.
- Travel to support customers in resolving quality issues.
- Lead 8D corrective action meetings and participate in audits.
- Develop and maintain quality systems and documentation for assigned projects.
Job Requirements
- Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in ISO9001, IATF16949, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, and 8D Problem Solving.
- Knowledge of quality systems and inspection techniques.
- Experience with Gage R&R and Capability studies.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer in the Automotive Industry.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and using hands.
