Responsibilities
- Develop mixed-signal designs throughout the product life-cycle, including requirements definition and release to production.
- Support avionics architecture trade studies and performance characterization.
- Perform de-rating analysis, worst case circuit analysis, and system reliability analysis.
- Develop avionics systems interfacing with sensors and actuators.
- Implement hardware to software interfaces for control law and automated test functions.
- Conduct risk analyses and root-cause analysis of test discrepancies.
- Participate in technology development and avionics process improvements.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience in electronics hardware development.
- Experience delivering flight avionics for aircraft or launch vehicles.
- Knowledge of analog/digital filtering and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Understanding of sensor and actuator technologies.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC practices and compliance standards.
- Graduate degree or 10+ years of experience is desired.
- Proficiency in using design tools like KiCad and programming/scripting languages.
