Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in design, build, integration, and testing of SCS components and systems.
- Conduct Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) of test failures and field returns.
- Write test plans, procedures, and reports while owning test closure.
- Analyze test data to identify faults and present findings to the team.
- Perform detailed design and analysis of components and assemblies.
- Design and implement assembly tooling for machine fabrication.
- Ensure timely completion of project deliverables, including design, drawings, analysis, and testing documentation.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical engineering degree with at least 3 years of experience in design or product development roles.
- Experience with mechanical design of turbomachinery or similar rotating machinery systems.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software, preferably Solidworks, with 2+ years of experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Proven capability of maintaining technical ownership of a design.
- Experience interfacing with vendors and customers for product design input.
