Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will support the design, build, and testing of Subsurface Compressor Systems (SCS), focusing on various components and systems.

• Provide technical support in design, build, integration, and testing of SCS components and systems.
• Perform Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) on test failures and field returns.
• Write test plans, procedures, and reports, and manage test closure.
• Analyze test data to identify faults and present findings.
• Conduct detailed design and analysis of components and assemblies.
• Design and implement assembly tooling and test fixturing.
• Ensure timely completion of project deliverables, including design and documentation.

• Mechanical engineering degree with at least 3 years of experience in design or product development.
• 2+ years of experience with 3D modeling software, preferably Solidworks.
• 2+ years of project management experience with complex products and systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
• Proven capability to maintain technical ownership of designs.
• Experience interfacing with vendors and customers for product design input.
