Responsibilities
- Design and develop high reliability electrical systems and PCBs for satellite devices.
- Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test.
- Perform PCB troubleshooting and root cause analysis down to component level.
- Be responsible for the entire satellite electrical system.
- Define and lead satellite harness definition and fabrication processes.
- Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and general documentation for design transfer.
- Maintain effective communication with all functional groups to ensure project success.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- 2-4 years of hardware development experience in PCB board design and layout.
- Advanced proficiency with design tools for schematic capture (Altium preferred).
- Experience working in the lab with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
- Strong technical ability and creativity.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
