Responsibilities
- Design and develop high reliability electrical systems and PCBs for satellite devices.
- Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, and analysis.
- Perform PCB troubleshooting and root cause analysis down to the component level.
- Define and lead satellite harness definition and fabrication processes.
- Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and documentation for design transfer.
- Maintain and update requirements and design documentation throughout the system life cycle.
- Support on-orbit operations as an electrical systems subject matter expert.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2-4 years of hardware development experience in PCB design and electronic system prototyping.
- Advanced proficiency with design tools for schematic capture (Altium preferred).
- Strong technical ability and creativity.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools and soldering skills.
