The role is a paid summer internship for engineering students at TTM Technologies, focusing on gaining professional experience in a manufacturing environment. Interns will work on projects related to improving and automating production lines while being mentored by experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technology to improve, streamline, and automate production lines
- Develop new chemical or mechanical processes
- Review and analyze production lines for automation opportunities
- Design simplified calibration techniques for production line machines
- Develop new analysis techniques
- Present project updates to leadership teams
- Collaborate with team members and mentor for professional development
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program majoring in relevant engineering fields
- Must be a junior going into senior year with good academic standing
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations
- Understanding of chemistry or material science
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with various conditions
