Responsibilities
- Utilize technology to improve and automate production lines
- Develop new chemical or mechanical processes
- Review and analyze production lines for automation opportunities
- Design simplified calibration techniques for production line machines
- Develop new analysis techniques
- Present project updates to site and regional leadership
- Collaborate with a mentor for guidance and support
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled as a junior in an accredited engineering program (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
- Good academic standing required
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations
- Understanding of chemistry or material science
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with potential hazards
