Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems for advanced satellites.
- Build mechanical team skillsets, including staff planning and mentorship.
- Develop documentation and best practices for the engineering team.
- Support spacecraft mechanical design from concept to flight.
- Review models and drawings for compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to validate designs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for design efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 12+ years of experience in Launch or Space Vehicles.
- 5+ years of team leadership experience.
- Experience with spacecraft mechanical architecture and design.
- Mastery in CAD tools, such as SolidWorks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for the space industry.
