Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall technical lead and design authority for the missile defense program.
- Guide the program through all phases from concept development to operational deployment.
- Lead the integration of requirements across various subsystems.
- Anticipate and resolve technical risks in design, manufacturing, and mission operations.
- Collaborate with program management and engineering teams for technical alignment.
- Act as the primary technical interface with government customers and partners.
- Build and mentor a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of innovation.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in aerospace, missile defense, or space systems.
- Proven track record of managing complex aerospace/defense programs through the full life cycle.
- Experience with DoD acquisition programs and mission assurance standards.
- Command of multiple domains such as flight dynamics, reentry vehicles, and autonomous systems.
- Demonstrated success in leading large, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility preferred.
