Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead and design authority for the missile defense program.
- Guide the program through all phases from concept development to operational deployment.
- Lead integration of requirements across various subsystems.
- Identify and resolve technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical alignment and mission assurance.
- Act as the primary technical interface with government and mission partners.
- Build and mentor a high-performing technical team.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in aerospace or missile defense.
- Proven experience managing complex aerospace/defense programs through their lifecycle.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition programs and mission assurance standards.
- Knowledge in multiple aerospace domains such as flight dynamics, reentry vehicles, and autonomous systems.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility preferred.
