Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate, develop, and sustain processes to meet product performance and manufacturing yield requirements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce cycle time and waste, and implement plans accordingly.
- Develop tools, fixtures, and processes to meet product and process capability requirements.
- Create and maintain process validation master plans and validate new manufacturing processes.
- Manage activities with outside vendors for components and services.
- Build and validate test equipment, conduct testing, and analyze data.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a four-year engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.
- Preferred experience with cardiovascular catheters or self-expanding stents.
- Knowledge of chemistry and good laboratory practices.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma principles preferred.
- Able to work in an industrial environment.
