Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing project files, engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models.
- Develop tool cutter lists and recommend new cutting tools for machining efficiency.
- Establish tool cutter speeds and feeds based on recommendations and tests.
- Develop first-run quality toolpath strategies using CAD-CAM software.
- Identify improvements to processes and methods for continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple projects and delivery dates.
- Communicate necessary information and instructions to shop floor personnel.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in programming CNC mills.
- Knowledge of high-speed 5-axis machining of aluminum and steel parts.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM engineering software techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience with Kaizen, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to convey information concisely.
