Responsibilities
- Develop and exercise design and analysis skills for stellarator design activities.
- Create CAD and/or FEA models.
- Deliver functional custom components and tooling.
- Support prototyping activities.
- Collaborate with other engineering interns in various roles.
- Engage in hands-on experience with mechanical engineering tasks.
- Participate in team projects related to fusion energy systems.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in a STEM undergraduate or graduate program (mechanical engineering or related fields).
- Interest in clean and sustainable energy.
- Hands-on or computational experience through academic or industry projects.
- Highly self-motivated and independent.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Willingness to learn new things.
- Availability for onsite work at least 3 days per week.
