Responsibilities
- Lead and support early-stage design studies for spacecraft/ground concepts.
- Develop, maintain, and improve tools and models for spacecraft design and analysis.
- Collaborate with VGCD staff and program office personnel.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams for larger projects.
- Work full-time on-site for a minimum of 10 weeks.
- Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program for a Master’s or Ph.D. in relevant fields.
- Advanced knowledge in spacecraft subsystems and systems engineering.
- Availability for full-time work outside of university terms.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
- Proficiency in modeling tools and programming languages.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
