Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to develop innovative manufacturing solutions.
- Define and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee end-to-end line development, from conceptualization to production launch.
- Secure executive approval for project funding through compelling business cases.
- Partner with design engineering to optimize components for manufacturability (DFM).
- Manage production line ramp-up to meet aggressive timelines and quality standards.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Job Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in PFMEA, process documentation, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Tableau).
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration and executive reporting.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification (preferred).
