Responsibilities
- Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for specific products.
- Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly of structural parts.
- Create process flows for complex assemblies and sub-processes.
- Write documentation for manufacturing hardware at scale, including work instructions and quality plans.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to establish repeatable processes for production.
- Engage hands-on with technicians to build prototype hardware.
- Travel to suppliers for sourcing, resolving production issues, and implementing quality procedures.
Job Requirements
- Degree in a technical field (engineering, math, or hard science preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
- Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with relevant examples.
- Experience in physically manufacturing hardware (e.g., machining, fabrication).
- Genuine interest in manufacturing and eagerness to learn.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.
