Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional CAE simulation using specialized software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and global suppliers on dimensional requirements.
- Engage in the mechanical design of various vehicle systems.
- Participate in all stages of the design cycle from concept to production.
- Interact with cross-functional teams including Styling, Design, Manufacturing, and Quality.
- Apply GD&T principles in design tasks.
- Conduct multi-variable capability analysis and statistical testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in CAE, dimensional engineering, or metrology.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with CAD systems like Catia.
- Proficiency in dimensional variation root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
