Responsibilities
- Interface with cross-functional teams to assess manufacturing feasibility of product designs.
- Provide equipment recommendations for assembly lines and conveyances.
- Develop process documentation and project planning documents.
- Support the development and introduction of processes and equipment for prototype builds.
- Collaborate with vendors to develop efficient production lines.
- Ensure production line layouts and equipment are optimized for efficiency.
- Drive strategies to enhance quality and capacity of production lines while ensuring safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in developing and launching assembly processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with methodologies like DMAIC.
- Hands-on experience with modifying jigs and coordinating equipment installations.
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, and similar tools.
- Ability to manage competing demands and collaborate effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a data-driven decision-making approach.
