Responsibilities
- Ideate concepts for manufacturing systems and equipment.
- Develop specifications and manage the RFQ process.
- Lead and manage vendors, coordinating project scope with production, design, and quality teams.
- Validate and optimize processes from prototype builds to full volume production.
- Transition products from low-volume prototypes to large-scale production.
- Function as lead manufacturing engineer or project manager on new automated manufacturing equipment.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering or relevant experience.
- Experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes in high-volume production.
- Proficiency in GD&T and experimental design.
- Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts like line balancing and OEE.
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Physics, Materials, or equivalent experience.
- Experience deploying, qualifying, and validating new processes in automated environments.
- Capability to manage large, highly automated manufacturing lines.
