Responsibilities
- Component or system design responsibility from concept through production launch.
- Perform thermal/fluid reduced order modeling and feasibility studies.
- Develop and execute design validation plans and test methods.
- Hands-on engineering prototype builds and component fabrication.
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
- Root cause analysis and solving test failures and production problems.
- Component and system integration design for various thermal systems.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Ability to create products from CAD design to hands-on prototyping.
- Detail-oriented with solid documentation and reporting skills.
- Basic understanding of electrical design fundamentals.
- Strong engineering fundamentals in heat transfer, fluids, mechanics, and electronics.
- Experience with CATIA V5 or V6 and knowledge of Matlab or Python.
- Knowledge of GD&T, finite element analysis, and design for reliability concepts.
