Responsibilities
- Analyze and visualize data to identify trends and risks in cell programs.
- Create tools for rapid analysis of datasets and characterization techniques.
- Aid in designing tests and analyzing data to understand battery degradation modes.
- Collaborate with engineering groups across various disciplines.
- Independently lead technical projects and report findings.
- Leverage data to help design and produce safer, lower-cost, high-performance battery cells.
- Work alongside industry experts and recent graduates in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of Design for Reliability and Design of Experiments.
- Proficient in Python for data analysis and visualization.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling, DFMEA, and reliability software tools.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrochemical battery cell failure modes.
- Experience collaborating with design, manufacturing, and testing teams.
- Knowledge of lithium-ion cell life modeling and electrochemical mechanisms is a plus.
