Responsibilities
- Produce PCB designs, schematics, and collaborate with layout engineers for fabrication.
- Work closely with FPGA and firmware engineers to characterize and test full PCB systems.
- Produce electrical system designs and work with mechanical engineers to ensure serviceability.
- Design power distribution, interconnection diagrams, safety interlocks, and supporting hardware.
- Familiarity with AC power distribution and programmable logic controllers is desired.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork on cross-disciplinary teams are essential.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development within the electrical engineering field.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- No prior work experience required.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools such as OrCAD, Altium, PADS, or Eagle.
- Knowledge of common electronic blocks (e.g., power supply regulators, ADCs/DACs).
- Experience with simulation tools like ADS or Hyperlynx is a plus.
- Understanding of cable and fiber optic design, ladder logic, or soldering is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
