Responsibilities
- Produce PCB designs and schematics.
- Collaborate with layout engineers to fabricate printed circuit boards.
- Work with FPGA and firmware engineers to characterize and test full PCB systems.
- Create electrical system designs and work with mechanical engineers to ensure serviceability.
- Design power distribution, interconnection diagrams, and safety interlocks.
- Familiarity with AC power distribution and programmable logic controllers.
- Communicate effectively and work on cross-disciplinary teams.
Job Requirements
- Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
- 0-5 years of related work experience depending on the degree.
- Experience with PCB design tools (OrCAD, Altium, PADS, Eagle).
- Knowledge of common electronic blocks (power supply regulators, op-amps, etc.).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with cable and fiber optic design, ladder logic, or soldering is a plus.
