Responsibilities

  • Support the operation of Additive Manufacturing machines and post-processing.
  • Collaborate with engineers on process development for product finishing/coating.
  • Conduct material characterization and testing for metals, polymers, and ceramics.
  • Assist in alloy development, failure analysis, and process development.
  • Engage in materials testing and characterization for manufacturing troubleshooting.
  • Suggest and implement joining methods for assembly optimization.
  • Design and enhance high-pressure die casting dies as part of the Mechanical Design team.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Materials Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, thermal, electrical, and physical properties of materials.
  • Experience with materials testing and characterization.
  • Familiarity with coding languages such as Python and Matlab is a plus.
  • Willingness to promote health and safety in the workplace.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
