Responsibilities
- Support the operation of Additive Manufacturing machines and post-processing.
- Collaborate with engineers on process development for product finishing/coating.
- Conduct material characterization and testing for metals, polymers, and ceramics.
- Assist in alloy development, failure analysis, and process development.
- Engage in materials testing and characterization for manufacturing troubleshooting.
- Suggest and implement joining methods for assembly optimization.
- Design and enhance high-pressure die casting dies as part of the Mechanical Design team.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Materials Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of mechanical, thermal, electrical, and physical properties of materials.
- Experience with materials testing and characterization.
- Familiarity with coding languages such as Python and Matlab is a plus.
- Willingness to promote health and safety in the workplace.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
