Responsibilities
- Evaluate and qualify material candidates, including engineering plastics, composites, and adhesives.
- Perform materials characterization and performance evaluation through analytical studies.
- Understand the chemical and mechanical properties of polymeric components.
- Develop and evaluate improved compositions of custom formulations.
- Write materials specifications, test procedures, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with the Solar Materials Engineering team on projects.
- Maintain organization and communication across disciplines.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in statistical software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
