Responsibilities
- Ownership of circuit boards and electronics for low voltage test systems, including specification, design, and fabrication.
- Hands-on bring-up, build, and debugging of new circuit boards.
- Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to design robust systems for product validation.
- Review product schematics and design circuitry for emulation.
- Integrate validation software frameworks for automated test systems.
- Maintain test setups for continuous robust operation.
- Promote Tesla’s reputation as a leader in sustainable energy solutions.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and circuit design experience.
- Proficiency with basic electrical engineering tools and troubleshooting.
- Experience with communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN).
- Familiarity with PCB design software (Altium) and circuit simulation tools (LTspice, Cadence).
- Hands-on experience debugging microprocessors and software-controlled devices.
- Python proficiency and experience with PC-based test systems (Python, Matlab, Labview).
