Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze product field performance to identify trending issues.
- Triage emerging trends and develop failure hypotheses using engineering principles.
- Collaborate with the Failure Analysis team to determine root causes of problems.
- Work with engineering, factory quality, and suppliers to implement corrective actions.
- Communicate field performance and gather support from engineering leadership on improvement priorities.
- Provide feedback during design reviews based on field performance and reliability data.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and take preventive actions.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in Failure Analysis, Product Engineering, Quality, or Service preferred.
- Participation in student competitions (e.g., Formula SAE, Baja SAE) is a plus for entry-level candidates.
- Broad engineering background with the ability to work across various teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to use tools and applications for data management and analysis.
- Familiarity with programming languages and tools such as SQL, Python, and Minitab is advantageous.
