Responsibilities
- Identify root causes through detailed failure analysis using analytical tools.
- Drive issue resolution from root cause analysis to countermeasure implementation.
- Design and conduct experiments to replicate field failures.
- Analyze field and diagnostic logs/data for trending issues.
- Monitor product field performance and prioritize based on severity and cost.
- Provide feedback in design reviews to mitigate performance and reliability risks.
- Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and manufacturers to resolve identified failures.
Job Requirements
- Prior experience in Failure Analysis, Quality, or Service Engineering in consumer electronics or automotive.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data management and interpretation tools.
- Experience with programming languages like MATLAB or Python; SQL experience is a plus.
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Passion for engineering and a self-motivated attitude.
- Strong technical understanding and problem-solving capabilities.
