Responsibilities
- Own start-to-finish tool-hardware-system ownership including specification, architecture, design, simulation, validation, and integration.
- Support existing software and hardware tools, scaling them for mass usage.
- Lead next-generation feature and product development of current tooling and equipment.
- Prioritize safety around high voltage and complex electronic equipment.
- Drive data analytics and metrics to improve use case studies with custom equipment.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams for technical problem-solving.
- Travel to commissioning and containment sites, as well as Giga factories, 10-15% of the time.
Job Requirements
- 4 or more years of design and prototyping experience.
- 4 or more years of experience with high voltage (100V and above).
- 4 or more years of product/tool release and change control experience.
- 4 or more years of designing mechatronic-related solutions.
- 2 or more years of proven experience integrating with manufacturing or field service.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder management on design options.
- Ability to create impactful software design documentation for stakeholders.
