Responsibilities
- Specification, architecture, design, simulation, and layout supervision of circuit boards.
- Collaborate with PCB layout, firmware, mechanical, program management, and validation teams.
- Document design requirements, calculations, and validation results thoroughly.
- Iterate designs rapidly as requirements and features evolve.
- Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and electronic loads.
- Design high-volume circuit boards with a focus on automotive specifications.
- Address open-ended challenges using first-principles thinking.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in circuit board design, preferably with Altium.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Basic programming ability, preferably in Python.
- Experience with automotive design requirements is preferred.
- Knowledge of fail-safe redundancy for autonomous vehicles is a plus.
- Experience in shipping high-volume circuit boards is preferred.
