Responsibilities
- Design reactor structures and components from requirements through final design.
- Coordinate inputs and requirements from Engineering and Project teams for design solutions.
- Perform scoping analysis and calculations for design options.
- Interface with engineering analysis activities.
- Manage supplier activities technically.
- Present design results for reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and subcontractors.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of eight years of equipment/component design experience.
- Working experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Proficiency in finite element stress analysis and mechanical analysis methods.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CAD and SolidWorks preferred.
