Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a highly effective quality assurance team.
- Set yearly goals, conduct performance reviews, and support employee development.
- Ensure project and technical scopes meet quality requirements.
- Monitor and report status of activities and oversee vendor technical work.
- Participate in corrective actions and continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure compliance with engineering procedures and quality standards.
- Facilitate communication of major technical issues among senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 10+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with relevant experience.
- 12+ years in Quality Assurance, with 5+ years in a managerial role in a nuclear environment.
- Proven experience managing a team of QA professionals.
- Exceptional communication skills for collaboration across diverse teams.
- Experience with projects under high regulatory oversight, preferably in nuclear power.
- Strong technical acumen and understanding of complex concepts.
- High degree of trust, integrity, and a collaborative mindset.
