Responsibilities
- Participate in New Product Development team projects.
- Develop concept and product design solutions.
- Conduct analysis and testing for functionality, strength, and safety.
- Design, prototype, assemble, troubleshoot, and validate design improvements.
- Create detailed engineering documentation on product improvements.
- Take ownership of real work assignments.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar field.
- Ability to work full-time for 6 months in-person.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SolidWorks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proactive in seeking help and asking questions.
- Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical concepts.
- Interest in Lean Manufacturing concepts and robotics/mechatronics experience is a plus.
