Responsibilities
- Derive requirements for electronics design tasks from system specifications and customer interactions.
- Perform system design trades relating to hardware and software.
- Design digital electronics, including digital video systems and FPGA.
- Collaborate with development teams to refine requirements and interfaces.
- Create design verification test plans and debug hardware.
- Prepare and present design reviews to teams and customers.
- Generate schematics, layouts, and design documentation to support manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship due to program requirements.
- Experience with digital electronics circuit design and FPGA tools.
- Familiarity with PCB layout software like Siemens PADS and Altium Designer.
- Knowledge of electronic sensors, controls, and system interfaces.
- Strong understanding of engineering documentation processes.
- Experience managing outside design houses.
- BSEE degree or similar with 10+ years of related experience.
