Responsibilities
- Work with rotating equipment including gas seals, bearings, vibration, and controls.
- Interpret and apply industry standards (API-617, 692, etc.).
- Review customer order scope and technical specifications.
- Provide input into the design of compressor/gearbox support systems.
- Conduct detailed engineering of compressor/gearbox support systems.
- Create and review engineering drawings and documentation.
- Provide engineering and troubleshooting support for assembly and testing activities.
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Engineering (MS a plus).
- 3-5 years of related engineering experience.
- Sound engineering judgment and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of structural design and FEA (e.g., Ansys a plus).
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Ability to travel to customer and supplier sites as needed.
- Excellent team player.
