Responsibilities
- Develop technical expertise regarding products and business processes.
- Establish and perform maintenance on manufacturing bills of material.
- Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain routings to govern workflow.
- Interface with various departments to address issues and improve processes.
- Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
- Collaborate with personnel at all levels for continuous process improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or related.
- 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly practices, GD&T, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with software tools like Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and quality control methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work 40-50 hours per week, which may include on-call status or travel.
