Responsibilities
- Review new product BOMs to ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical component ratings.
- Create and maintain test and reliability reports summarizing product performance outcomes.
- Conduct early component HALT and Sherlock simulations to mitigate reliability risks.
- Develop and implement reliability testing plans and methodologies.
- Conduct Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with design engineers to evaluate product reliability and provide feedback.
- Lead Failure Analyses (e.g., 8D) and recommend design changes based on testing results.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics and Controls Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably in hardware products.
- Proficiency in reliability analysis tools and methodologies, including FMEA and fault tree analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools for reliability data analysis.
- Familiarity with industry standards for reliability (e.g., MIL-STD, ISO 9001).
