Responsibilities
- Lead test strategy and execution for design validation, product reliability, and compliance certification.
- Manage a team of test engineers, enhancing team capabilities through mentorship and recruitment.
- Oversee existing test infrastructure and make decisions regarding in-house versus outsourced testing.
- Guide deployment of scalable hardware test system architecture and test automation.
- Define mission profiles to validate product performance across various use models.
- Manage relationships with external labs for testing as needed.
- Foster collaboration with design, manufacturing, and compliance teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in test engineering for electromechanical or electronic systems.
- 3–5+ years in a team leadership or engineering management role.
- Proven experience in building high-performance engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Experience with scaling test processes in a fast-paced environment.
