Responsibilities
- Lead test strategy and execution for design validation, product reliability, and compliance certification.
- Manage and strengthen a team of test engineers through mentorship and recruiting.
- Oversee existing test infrastructure and expand internal testing capabilities.
- Guide the deployment of scalable hardware test system architecture and test automation.
- Define mission profiles to validate product performance and reliability.
- Manage relationships with external labs for testing as necessary.
- Foster a collaborative culture with various engineering and operations teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in test engineering for electromechanical or electronic systems.
- 3–5+ years in a team leadership or engineering management role.
- Proven history of building high-performance engineering teams.
- Experience shipping complex electromechanical products.
- Deep understanding of product validation and testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with relevant tools like Python.
