Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage factory design projects, including initial ideation and machine ownership.
- Collaborate on requirements and drive system-level optimization for in-house machine design.
- Refine production systems to ensure high-rate, high-yield, and reliable processes.
- Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Create schedules and budgets, motivating the team to achieve them.
- Lead multi-disciplinary projects spanning various engineering domains.
- Ensure factory safety and reliability through effective design and monitoring.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a science discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency with CAD and FEA software packages.
- 2+ years of hands-on project experience with complex mechanical systems preferred.
- Familiarity with motion systems, robotics, and industrial sensors.
- Willingness to learn about electrical systems and PLC coding.
- Ability to work long hours and travel as needed for business support.
