Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage factory design projects from ideation to operational hand-off.
- Collaborate on requirements and drive system-level optimization for in-house machine design.
- Refine production systems to ensure high-rate and reliable processes.
- Implement safety-compliant systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Create schedules and budgets, motivating the team to achieve them.
- Oversee cradle-to-grave machine ownership and proof of rate capability.
- Stay organized and implement improvements for factory health monitoring.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a science discipline.
- Experience with CAD and FEA software packages.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design or related fields.
- Proficient in 3D CAD and product lifecycle management programs.
- Exposure to motion system sizing and production machinery.
- Willingness to learn about electrical systems and PLC code.
- Ability to work long hours and travel as necessary.
