Responsibilities
- Serve as instrumentation and test expert on the flight hardware development team.
- Develop detailed test plans and campaigns for flight hardware validation.
- Assist with anomaly and failure investigations.
- Create requirements for new test systems for hardware validation.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to conceptualize and develop new test systems.
- Train personnel on complex test systems' operations and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in physics or an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical, fluid, or electrical systems (internships and project teams qualify).
- Familiarity with mechanical, drivetrain, and electrical engineering concepts.
- Experience in a test-focused role.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical system diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and in tight spaces as needed.
