Responsibilities
- Interface with Production operations, Inspection, Shipping/Receiving, and Engineering teams to develop quality signals and processes.
- Maintain quality processes to control nonconforming materials and parts.
- Manage containment actions for non-conforming products and coordinate root cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and improve manufacturability in designs and processes.
- Track yield and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into new product introduction (NPI).
- Collaborate with teams to close reliability or process gaps.
- Lead projects and communicate the benefits of changes to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- 1+ years of experience in quality systems, quality assurance/control, or manufacturing/production.
- Good written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate autonomously and self-direct.
- Knowledge of quality tools and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with high volume manufacturing and supplier quality processes.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the work week.
