Responsibilities
- Interface with Production operations, Inspection, Shipping/Receiving, and Engineering teams to develop quality signals and processes.
- Maintain quality processes to control and disposition nonconforming materials and components.
- Oversee containment actions for non-conforming products and coordinate root cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and improve manufacturability with integrated product teams.
- Track yield and inspection escapes, incorporating lessons learned into new product introductions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to close reliability or process gaps.
- Lead projects and drive accountability within teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- 1+ years of experience in quality systems or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9000, and/or Nadcap AC7004.
- Preferred Master's degree in engineering or supply chain.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as Lean principles and Six Sigma.
- Experience with high volume manufacturing of components and hardware.
- Ability to travel up to 60-75%.
