Responsibilities
- Own complex mechanical subsystems for drone products from concept to production.
- Gather requirements and conduct trade studies for optimal solutions.
- Perform hand calculations and FEA to optimize designs.
- Lead design reviews and collaborate with cross-disciplinary partners.
- Build prototypes and execute hardware test plans.
- Investigate root causes of hardware failures in development and production.
- Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed.
Job Requirements
- Experience in technical projects (collegiate or professional).
- Demonstrated project/technical leadership skills.
- 2+ years of mechanical/design experience.
- CAD skills and ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Proficient in hands-on prototyping.
- BS or MS in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
