Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for suppliers, addressing manufacturing and quality challenges.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews and implement the production part approval process (PPAP).
- Partner with procurement to strategically source parts and assess supplier capabilities.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes at suppliers.
- Validate and ensure the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.
- Demonstrate innovation and technical excellence in all tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or quality (including relevant projects or internships).
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP).
- Familiarity with quality processes and manufacturing methods.
- Strong communication skills for presentations and supplier interactions.
- Ability to make timely decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Experience in a fast-paced design environment within relevant industries.
