Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact and subject matter expert for suppliers.
- Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews and manage outsourced parts.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to strategically source parts.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives at suppliers.
- Validate supplier corrective actions and ensure robust implementation.
- Lead containment activities and work with cross-functional teams for resolution.
- Drive results and customer satisfaction through collaboration and project leadership.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of manufacturing, supply chain, or quality experience.
- Preferred: Master's degree in an engineering or business discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of quality systems and processes (e.g., PPAP, APQP).
- Experience with Lean principles and process improvement in manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills for presentations to various stakeholders.
