Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for suppliers, solving manufacturing and quality challenges.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews and manage outsourced parts.
- Partner with procurement to strategically source parts based on supplier capabilities.
- Provide leadership for New Product Introduction (NPI) at suppliers.
- Validate supplier corrective actions and ensure their effectiveness.
- Lead containment activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Drive results and customer satisfaction through project leadership and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of manufacturing, supply chain, or quality experience.
- Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills for presentations and supplier management.
- Ability to make timely risk-based decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Experience in fast-paced design environments, preferably in aerospace or similar industries.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
