Responsibilities
- Review and assess supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- Provide feedback on manufacturing/processing methods and technologies.
- Drive supplier corrective actions and ensure effective root cause analysis.
- Develop Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify risks.
- Analyze supplier quality data and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Recommend changes to supplier strategy based on surveillance results.
- Build relationships with cross-functional groups to understand supply base needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience with manufacturing and/or inspection of mechanical products.
- Experience in special processes such as thin film coatings and chemical processing.
- Knowledge of principles of chemistry, engineering, and mechanics of materials.
- Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP).
- Certified lead auditor for AS9100 or QMS and process audit experience.
- Ability to travel up to 30-40%.
